A Drone Superpower

Ukraine has become a drone superpower. Ukrainian industry is producing incredible numbers of drones that could give the Ukrainian government one of the world’s most effective fighting forces.

Ukrainian factories can build 10 million drones a year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claims. If Zelensky’s claim is true, Ukrainian drone production grew by 60% in the past year. In 2025, Bloomberg estimated Ukraine was producing four million drones a year.
